AKBC Radio

At AKBC Radio, we have undertaken a significant studio upgrade to reflect the modern broadcast identity of this government-owned platform. The design features a sophisticated combination of crisp white wall panels interspersed with elegant grey acoustic-padding panels, creating a balanced aesthetic that blends professional form with sound performance. Subtle yet vibrant coloured LED lighting accents enrich the ambience, while a prominent overhead box light fixture serves both as a visual focal point and as precision illumination for on-air talent.

This transformation takes AKBC’s radio facility from its traditional roots into a contemporary broadcast environment — where government service meets high-end production.

AKBC TV

At Akwa Ibom Broadcasting Corporation TV, our recent control-room modernisation delivers a refined, professional broadcast environment worthy of a state-owned station operating at cutting-edge standards. The project features pristine white wall panels, contrasted by subtle texture and layers to reflect clean, modern design; complemented by bright white overhead lighting, which ensures excellent visibility and a high-performance working atmosphere for production staff.

This enhancement reflects the station’s transition from older infrastructure to a fully upgraded facility. In just 24 hours, our team completed the paneling installation — enabling the station to resume on-air operations with minimal downtime. Simultaneously, we carried out a comprehensive technology refresh: migrating from Standard Definition (SD) to Full High Definition (FHD), installing a new playout computer system, upgrading all cameras to Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K, replacing the switcher with a modern ATEM system, and swapping out all audio and video cabling for high-spec 6K UHD video cables and premium audio lines.

The result is a broadcast-ready control room that reflects both the prestige of a government-owned network and the technological capacity of a competitive digital media organisation.
